Verified ReviewerDangerous perscription medication found in OTC Member's Mark Ibuprofen bottle
I sent the message below to the service@***.com address yesterday evening. I have also reported this to the FDA. This is beyond unacceptable—that it happened in the first place and that Sam's Club's reaction was so nonchalant and indifferent. Action needs to be taken to remove this item from Sam's Club shelves and to investigate the root cause of this entirely irresponsible incident immediately. I am sure that I did not purchase the only bottle that had prescription medication mixed in with the ibuprofen, and if it hasn't already hurt or killed someone, it will eventually.
I had a live chat with three individuals on the Sam's Club website about this (Joana, Rony, Brian), and was conveniently disconnected right after I was transferred to the Supervisor Department—which makes me believe that 1) your company is avoiding responsibility for this incident and 2) I was never speaking to a supervisor, as I doubt there is a department that consists entirely of supervisors.
Here's the problem—I bought a two-pack of 200mg ibuprofen for my elderly mother at Sam's Club in Oxford, AL. She asked me to get them for her today, so I was beside her when she poured a few in her hand to take them. I immediately noticed that one of them was larger than the others and pink. I stopped her and looked up the pill. It is called Divalproex Sodium and is mainly used for bipolar disorder and epilepsy. I asked her if she had noticed any others in the bottle and she said she didn't, but she couldn't be sure because sometimes she takes them in the middle of the night or early in the morning. She also said she had taken a few pills from the bottle this morning but doesn't remember actually looking at them. I dumped the contents of the bottle onto a plate and found a second Divalproex Sodium pill.
Divalproex Sodium can be very dangerous if you're not supposed to take it, and it interacts badly with numerous other drugs—some of which my mother takes.
I will be up all night watching to make sure she isn't having any unusual symptoms, especially those that can come from a dangerous drug interaction. As this particular form of Divalproex Sodium is slow release, it could be a delayed reaction, so we won't know for sure she's okay until tomorrow.
I will also be worried that someone else has, or will, take these pills by accident believing they are ibuprofen and end up in the hospital or dead.
This is pure negligence and endangerment, and the Sam's Club response was 'here's 20 bucks'?
Where is the sense of urgency to protect your customers?
You should know that I have no intention of letting this go. I really hope someone responds to this email with the attitude I would expect in reaction to an issue of this magnitude. I also hope that nothing happens to my mother; I am the epitome of the overprotective daughter.

Bad bag
I received a 1.3 lb bag of squishy/gooey truffles. They feel like they are melted but they aren't.
It's basically like eating a Go-gurt.
RUNNY AND GROSS.
I love the toffee and buy it often. This is the only bag that I have seen like this.
Horrible customer service
We ordered a grill and when we opened it we noticed a part was damaged. So we put a call in to members mark, ordered a new part and thought we were waiting for said part, only to have to call back at least 3 times and still is in process after almost two months.
The customer service rep was very rude!
When I asked to speak with a manager she said they are not available so I asked again and she placed me on hold for 1 min and came back and said like I said they are unavailable so I called SAMS club and found out the part was NEVER ordered! Horrible customer service and never got ordered

Broke a tooth on this product, small caution label on the back of the jar. But, I didn't realize this product is full of huge pits.
And the disclaimer isn't in plain view. I would never have bought it if I had seen a caution label tucked away on the back of the jar.
The olives are absolutely dangerous for choking or causing thousands of dollars in dental expenses. Don't buy this product.

I do appreciate the bad Deluxe Mixed nuts being refunded onto a store card. I have NEVER had an issue with them not being good.
The issue was I didnt know UNTIL I made my Chex mix with them. Very disappointing!
But very happy Members Mark stood behind this purchase. THANK YOU!
Glass in tuna
I opened a couple cans of tuna - Members Mark Premium Albacore Tuna and there were shards of glass in the cans with the tuna. The public needs to be made aware of this!

Missing K cups in the variety pack of 100, all 33 breakfast blend was missing and only got the exact amount of the other k cups. We went to put it up on Monday we purchased it on Sunday. Called and was told we would get a gift certificate but have not seen it yet.

We purchased a box of 100 k cups members mark. Once we got home and opened the box to put the coffee away it was missing 33 breakfast blend the others was packed as described as on the package. All I want is a refund I was told I would get a gift card but has not showed up yet.

We bought a couple of packages of members mark real bacon bits and the second bag that I opened was moldy. The expiration date isnt until April. I have pics of the bag, the moldy bacon, and the expiration date.

I don't understand why you guys changed the acai bowl its nasty now and has no flavor its plain and bland it was good before with almond and sunflower seeds it had flavor now this new bowl sucks can't even finish one bowl nobody even asked for this change I guess I'll be going back to tattoo chef. On Dec.8, 2023 I purchased 2 bags of 31/40 cooked and ready shrimp, each bag was 2lbs...most of the shrimp had partial shells on them...also many were NOT deveined...this was for Christmas...I spent over an hour deveining and pulling off shells from shrimp !!! I have been a Sam's member since 1995...then again 2014...I have purchased these shrimp many times and never had a problem...but these 2 bags were awful !!!
